You the Jitterbug-
From time immemorial;
Historian the Witness;
Here is your meticulous Wig;
Me the Poet too the Witness;
The Politician the shrewd;
Whom you always hug!

The hug the ceremonial;
The notorious as well;
Me the helpless onlooker;
Rather the spectator-
The speculator!

You the Jittery;
The Kite- the string-less;
Still!
This tiny feeble breeze-
This silent swaying breath of mine
(Me the Poet cent-hued fine)
Might oar you to the celestial Spell!
